Noldoli (Music of the Ainur):

One of the three groups of the Eldar in Tol Eressëa. They were also called Gnomes. The other two groups were the Teleri and the Solosimpi.

The Olórë Mallë (Cottage of Lost Play):

This is another name for the Way of Dreams.

Solosimpi (Music of the Ainur):

One of the three groups of the Eldar in Tol Eressea. Their name means the shoreland-pipers. The other two groups are the Noldoli and the Teleri.

Teleri (Music of the Ainur):

One of the three groups of Elves that inhabited Tol Eressëa. The other two groups were the Noldoli and the Solosimpi. Interestingly, although the Teleri were supposed to have been the first group to arrive, their name has elements of the meaning 'last', 'late' etc.

The Tale-fire (The Cottage of Lost Play):

Located in the Room of Logs. According to Vaire, it burns the year around and is a magical fire. The Tale-fire is supposed to aid the telling of tales.

The Way of Dreams (Cottage of Lost Play):

There is some debate as to whether the Way of Dreams was a physical thing or spiritual. Vairë describes it as physical, when she talked about its route and appearance: "It was a lane of deep banks and overhanging hedges..." (HOMEI.18). Supposedly, it was closed off after the city of Kôr was left.

The Way of Dreams was also called the Olórë Mallë.
