One of the three groups of Elves that inhabited Tol Eressëa. The other two
groups were the Noldoli and the Solosimpi. Interestingly, although the Teleri
were supposed to have been the first group to arrive, their name has elements
of the meaning 'last', 'late' etc.
Located in the Room of Logs. According to Vaire, it burns the year around
and is a magical fire. The Tale-fire is supposed to aid the telling of
tales.
There is some debate as to whether the Way of Dreams was a physical thing or spiritual. Vairë describes it as physical, when she talked about its route and appearance: "It was a lane of deep banks and overhanging hedges..." (HOMEI.18). Supposedly, it was closed off after the city of Kôr was left.
The Way of Dreams was also called the Olórë Mallë.
