The Cottage of Lost Play:

The home of Lindo and Vairë, the Cottage of Lost Play was also known as Mar Vanwa Tyaliéva. It was a small cottage on the outside, but once one had entered, it "seemed a house of great spaciousness and very great delight"(HOMEI.14).

It was located on the island of Tol Eressëa, in the city of Koromas, or Kortirion as it was sometimes called, in the region of Alaminórë. The Cottage of Lost Play contained the Hall of Play Regained, the Gong of the Children and the Room of the Log Fire.

The other inhabitants of the cottage included Littleheart and children of all ages. As told to Eriol, the Cottage of Lost Play was a home for those children who had found Valinor before the safe path was lost.
