The Great Journey:
The journey of the Elves from the eastern regions of Middle-Earth
to Aman. This journey lasted many years and was led by the Vala
Oromë. The hosts of the Elves were in three sections, the
Vanyar, who came first, the Noldor, who were the second, and the
Teleri, who were the greatest numbers, and many left the journey
and remained in Middle-Earth, especially among the Teleri.
